Nilgiri Teas

Nilgiri Teas - Teas from South India

In the tropical south-western region of India lie the Nilgiris (which literally translates to blue mountains). This region features rolling hills and dense jungles where herds of elephants roam free. Teas from this region grow year round along slopes which appear blue when viewed through a haze from a distance. These teas are known for their briskness, pungency and unique character.
