The name says it all. Well-twisted bold black leaves full of silver tips. These leaves produce a wonderfully concentrated and intense tasting tea liquor with good strength and clarity, moderate briskness and a pleasingly balanced muscatel flavour.

    The famous Jungpana Estate certainly lives up to its reputation in this very difficult year for Darjeeling teas. Rich muscatel aroma wafts from the cup and there's a plushness to the tea's body I've rarely experienced in Darjeelings. A classic second-flush Darjeeling that is worth every penny of its price.
